Children

Children of all ages are invited Friday evenings from 4:30-8:00pm. Dinner is provided! Parents are welcome to join us for dinner and the closing each week or they can simply use this kid free time to run errands, have their own quiet time – whatever they would like!

Here at AWANA we exist with the sole purpose of reaching kids with the gospel and engaging them in lifelong discipleship – that they would know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. 

But what does that look like? And how do we actually do that? We believe that discipleship is best cultivated in an environment that is highly scriptural and highly relational. We refer to this as The Great Connection. When children and students are deeply engaging with scripture and in relationships with other Christ followers. 

So what does that mean for you and your AWANA club? Our curriculum is built in a way that encourages children, ages 2-18, to memorize, but also learn, comprehend and apply the Bible. We believe that knowing the very word of God is an important part of every child’s discipleship. 

But discipleship doesn’t stop there. How many verses a child can recite at the end of the night isn’t the only win. But also that they felt like they belonged, they were greeted with a smile, called by name, and were invited into conversations about the Bible and their faith. 

Scripture and relationship need to go hand in hand.
